After finishing the marathon last Sunday (Dec-14), I went for a couple of gym sessions on Tuesday and Thursday but no cardio workout (running etc) this whole week. I was hardly able to walk for the first couple of days since I had severe thigh and leg pains. I was back to normal functioning on Thursday but I hurt my shoulder badly with the gym workout on Thursday. So, I took it easy on Friday and Saturday. So, this week was pretty much a lazy week spent on the couch watching TV for the most part. I also gorged on some unhealthy food and had a couple of drinking days (one more coming up tonight).
I am planning to get back to an active fit and healthy lifestyle starting tomorrow. I will be focusing more on my upper body strength with some running, cycling and swimming. I will post more about the goals for the New Year as we get closer to the New Year.
